In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily between 26 September 2026 and 25 November 2026, the following road sections on Yuen Long Highway will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

(a)    the section of Yuen Long Highway eastbound from about chainage marker 41.8A to about chainage marker 39.4A; and
(b)    the section of Yuen Long Highway westbound from about chainage marker 40.8B to about chainage marker 43.2B.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
