DETERMINATION OF FEES PAYABLE FOR DESIGNATION OR RENEWAL OF DESIGNATION OF PRE-SERVICE TRAINING SCHOOL PROVIDING PRE-SERVICE COURSES FOR PUBLIC LIGHT BUS, PUBLIC BUS, TAXI AND RIDE-HAILING VEHICLE DRIVERS
DETERMINATION OF MAXIMUM FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR PRE-SERVICE COURSES FOR PUBLIC LIGHT BUS, PUBLIC BUS, TAXI AND RIDE-HAILING VEHICLE DRIVERS AND THE ISSUE OF ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE OR COURSE CERTIFICATE
It is hereby notified that in exercise of the powers conferred under section 102I(5) of the Road Traffic Ordinance (Chapter 374), I have determined that:—
(1) the fees payable for the designation, or renewal of the designation, of a pre-service training school providing pre-service courses for public light bus, public bus, taxi and ride-hailing vehicle drivers shall be HK$19,250 with effect from 11 September 2026; and
(2) the maximum fees to be charged by the proprietor of a pre-service training school for a pre-service course for public light bus, public bus, taxi or ride-hailing vehicle drivers and the issue of an attendance certificate or a course certificate with effect from 11 September 2026 shall be:— (a) HK$1,500 for the pre-service course for public light bus, public bus or taxi drivers,
which includes a foundation module and a mode-specific module in respect of the class of vehicles; (b) HK$1,350 for the pre-service course for ride-hailing vehicle drivers,
which includes a foundation module and a mode-specific module in respect of ride-hailing vehicle;
(c) HK$750 for a foundation module for public light bus, public bus, taxi or ride-hailing vehicle drivers; (d) HK$750 for a mode-specific module in respect of public light bus, public bus or taxi; (e) HK$600 for a mode-specific module in respect of ride-hailing vehicle; and
(f) HK$30 for the issue of an attendance certificate or a course certificate.
