Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Ma On Shan Bypass and Ma On Shan Road

        Motorists are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am of the following day daily from 23 September 2026 to 25 September 2026, 29 September 2026 to 30 September 2026 and 2 October 2026:

Road Closure and Traffic Diversion

    1. The fast lane of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point about 100 metres south of its junction with Hang Hong Street westbound to a point about 620 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic. Affected vehicles on the above road section heading for Sha Tin and Kowloon will be diverted via the slip road leading from Ma On Shan Road southbound to Kam Chun Court;
    2. The fast lane of Ma On Shan Bypass southbound from a point about 400 metres north of its junction with Ma On Shan Road southbound to a point about 100 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic;
    3. The slow lane and middle lane of Ma On Shan Bypass southbound from a point about 190 metres north of its junction with Ma On Shan Road southbound to a point of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic;
    4. The slow lane and middle lane of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point of its junction with Ma On Shan Bypass southbound to a point about 285 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic;
    5. The slow lane and middle lane of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point about 120 metres south of its junction with Ma On Shan Bypass southbound to a point about 300 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic; and
    6. The fast lane of Ma On Shan Road southbound from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with the slip road leading from Ma On Shan Road southbound to Kam Chun Court to a point about 175 meters south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all traffic.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience.
