In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily between 28 September 2026 and 16 October 2026 (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), the following sections of Tsing Long Highway will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

(a)    the section of Tsing Long Highway southbound from about chainage marker 24.4 to about chainage marker 24.1 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
(b)    the section of Tsing Long Highway southbound from about chainage marker 24.1 to about chainage marker 23.0 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
