TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Central District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Central District from 12.30 am to 5.30 am on 22 and 29 September 2026:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 12.30 am to 5.30 am

1. 1. 1. The section of Lung Wo Road between Man Yiu Street and Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The left and middle lanes of Lung Wo Road westbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      3. The second leftmost lane of Man Cheung Street eastbound near Lung Wo Road; and
      4. The leftmost and second leftmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound between Yiu Sing Street and Lung Wo Road.

From 1.00 am to 5.30 am

1. 1. 1. The section of Man Yiu Street between Lung Wo Road and Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The right lane of Man Yiu Street northbound near Man Cheung Street;
      3. The rightmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      4. The leftmost lane of Man Cheung Street eastbound near Lung Wo Road; and
      5. The rightmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Po Street near Yiu Sing Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Lung Wo Road westbound heading for Man Cheung Street westbound or Man Yiu Street southbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street westbound, Finance Street and Man Cheung Street eastbound;
      2. Affected vehicles on Man Cheung Street eastbound heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Man Yiu Street southbound, Connaught Place southbound, Connaught Road Central eastbound, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Wa Avenue northbound, Lung Wo Road westbound, Yiu Sing Street westbound, Man Yiu Street northbound, roundabout, Man Yiu Street southbound and Yiu Sing Street eastbound;
      3. Affected vehicles on Man Yiu Street northbound heading for Finance Street or Man Yiu Street northbound will be diverted via Man Cheung Street westbound, Connaught Road Central eastbound, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Wa Avenue northbound, Lung Wo Road westbound and Yiu Sing Street westbound; and
      4. Affected vehicles on Man Yiu Street southbound heading for Man Cheung Street westbound or Man Yiu Street southbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street eastbound, Lung Wo Road eastbound, Edinburgh Place southbound, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Wa Avenue northbound, Lung Wo Road westbound, Yiu Sing Street westbound, Finance Street and Man Cheung Street eastbound.

C.     Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces

All metered parking spaces on Lung Wo Road will be suspended.

D.     Bus Service Arrangements

The bus stop of CTB Route No. 15 (Central bound) on Man Yiu Street northbound outside Two International Finance Centre will be suspended from 1.00 am to 5.30 am. The bus route will be diverted via Connaught Road Central westbound and Man Kwong Street eastbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers on the above arrangements.
