In exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. daily on 29 and 30 September 2026, the section of Fanling Highway westbound from a point about 240 metres east of its junction with the slip road to Kwu Tung North Road to a point about 200 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
