Motorists are advised that to facilitate construction works, the following temporarily traffic arrangements will be implemented in Public Square Street from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am daily from 5 October 2026 to 31 October 2026:-

1. Road Closure

A section of Public Square Street westbound between Shanghai Street and Reclamation Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

2. Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles on Shanghai Street southbound will be prohibited from making right turn movement onto Public Square Street westbound.

3. Traffic Diversions

1. Affected vehicles on Public Square Street westbound heading to Reclamation Street will be diverted via Shanghai Street southbound, Kansu Street westbound, Canton Road northbound, Public Square Street eastbound and Reclamation Street northbound; and
2. Affected vehicles on Shanghai Street southbound heading to Public Square Street westbound will be diverted via Shanghai Street southbound, Kansu Street westbound, Canton Road northbound, Public Square Street eastbound and Reclamation Street northbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected on site to guide motorists.
