Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on
Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Yuen Long


        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange from 1.30 a.m. to 3.00 a.m. daily on 30 September and 3, 8 and 10 October 2026:

(A)   Temporary Traffic Arrangements

(I)    Road Closure

The section of Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange leading from Yuen Long Highway westbound, Long Tin Road southbound or Long Hon Road northbound to Long Tin Road northbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   Traffic Diversion


(i)     Affected vehicles on Yuen Long Highway westbound heading for Long Tin Road northbound will be diverted via Hung Tin Road northbound, Hung Chi Road eastbound, Hung Tin Road southbound and Yuen Long Highway eastbound, or via Hung Tin Road northbound, Ping Ha Road eastbound and Tin Fuk Road eastbound;
(ii)    Affected vehicles on Yuen Long Highway westbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Yuen Long westbound will be diverted via Pok Oi Interchange, Shap Pat Heung Interchange, Shap Pat Heung Road westbound, Fung Ki Road northbound and Fung Cheung Road northbound; and
(iii)   Affected vehicles on Long Tin Road southbound heading for Castle Peak Road – Yuen Long eastbound or Ma Miu Road northbound will be diverted via Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Hon Road southbound, Shan Ha Road northbound, Town Park Road South eastbound, Ma Tin Road eastbound and Yuen Long Tai Yuk Road northbound.

(B)   Temporary Transport Arrangements

(i)     KMB Route No. N269 (Tin Shui Wai bound) and LWB Route No. N30 (Airport bound) will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan westbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Road southbound, San Hi Tsuen Street westbound, Castle Peak Road – Ping Shan eastbound and Shui Pin Wai Interchange before resuming their original routeings; and
(ii)    CTB Route No. N969 (Causeway bound) will be diverted via Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Wang Tat Road eastbound, Ping Wui Street southbound and Ma Wang Road westbound before resuming its original routeing.


        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. The bus companies will put up notices to advise passengers of the above arrangements.
