In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 October 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

(a)    the section of Tsing Long Highway northbound from about chainage marker 26.1N to its junction with Yuen Long Highway westbound will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
(b)    the section of Yuen Long Highway westbound from its junction with Tsing Long Highway northbound to about chainage marker 39.0B will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
