ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON HOI YUEN ROAD, KEI YIP LANE, KEI YIP STREET AND SHEUNG YIP STREET, KWUN TONG


         In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 9.00 pm on 3 October 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

    1. The northern and southern kerbside lanes of Hoi Yuen Road from a point at its junction with Wai Yip Street to a point at its junction with Sheung Yip Street;
    2. The eastern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Lane from a point at its junction with Hoi Yuen Road to a point abut 10 metres north of the same junction;
    3. The eastern and western kerbside lanes of Kei Yip Lane from a point at its junction with Kei Yip Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;
    4. The northern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Street from a point at its junction with Wai Yip Street to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction;
    5. The southern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Street from a point at its junction with Wai Yip Street to a point at its junction with Kei Yip Lane;
    6. The southern kerbside lane of Kei Yip Street from a point at its junction with Kei Yip Lane to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
    7. The northern kerbside lane of Sheung Yip Street from a point at its junction with Hoi Yuen Road to a point at its junction with Wai Yip Street;
    8. The southern kerbside lane of Sheung Yip Street from a point at its junction with Hoi Yuen Road to a point about 50 metres west of its junction with Wai Yip Street; and
    9. The southern kerbside lane of Sheung Yip Street from a point at its junction with Wai Yip Street to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.

         At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
