ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Temporary Prohibited Zone For Vehicles Exceeding 7 Metres In Length On Canal Road East, Causeway Bay

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day daily from 12 October 2026 to 16 October 2026, the section of Canal Road East between Jaffe Road and Lockhart Road will be temporarily designated as a prohibited zone for vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length.

     Drivers of all motor vehicles, expect those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles exceeding 7 metres in length into the above prohibited zone.

The extent of the prohibited zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic sign.
