TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Central District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Central District during the periods specified below:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 11.00 pm to 12.59 am of the following day daily from 13 to 16, 20 to 23 and 27 to 30 October 2026

1. 1. 1. The leftmost and second leftmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound near Yiu Sing Street;
      2. The leftmost, second leftmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound near Two International Finance Centre; and
      3. The rightmost lane of Man Po Street near Man Yiu Street.

From 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily from 14 to 17, 21 to 24 and 28 to 31 October 2026

1. 1. 1. The section of Man Yiu Street southbound between Yiu Sing Street and Lung Wo Road;
      2. The section of Man Kwong Street east of Man Yiu Street;
      3. The rightmost and second rightmost lanes of Man Po Street near Man Yiu Street; and
      4. The leftmost and second leftmost lanes of Man Yiu Street southbound between Man Kwong Street and Yiu Sing Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

From 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily from 14 to 17, 21 to 24 and 28 to 31 October 2026

1. 1. 1. Affected vehicles on Man Yiu Street southbound heading for Man Cheung Street will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street eastbound, Lung Wo Road eastbound, Edinburgh Place southbound, Harcourt Road eastbound, Tim Wa Avenue northbound and Lung Wo Road westbound;
      2. Affected vehicles on Man Po Street heading for Man Cheung Street or Man Yiu Street southbound will be diverted via Finance Street and Man Cheung Street eastbound; and
      3. Affected vehicles on Man Po Street or Man Yiu Street southbound heading for Lung Wo Road eastbound will be diverted via Yiu Sing Street eastbound.

C.     Suspension of Bus Stop

The bus stop of CTB Route Nos. 2, 7 and 91 at Man Yiu Street southbound opposite to Two International Finance Centre will be suspended from 11.00 pm to 5.30 am of the following day daily from 13 to 16, 20 to 23 and 27 to 30 October 2026.

D.     Suspension of Taxi Stand

The taxi stand at Man Kwong Street outside Central Pier No. 8 will be suspended from 1.00 am to 5.30 am daily from 14 to 17, 21 to 24 and 28 to 31 October 2026.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists. The bus company will display notices to advise passengers on the above arrangements.
