Extension of Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Lam Yu Road, Yuen Long


        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will continue to be implemented on Lam Yu Road from 6.00 p.m. on 31 October 2026 to 6.00 p.m. on 28 February 2027:

(I)    Road Closure

The section of Lam Yu Road from its junction with Shan Ha Road to a point about 130 metres east of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   Lane Conversion

The section of Lam Yu Road eastbound from a point about 130 metres east of its junction with Shan Ha Road to its junction with Lam Hau Tsuen Road will be temporarily converted from one-lane one-way traffic into one-lane two-way traffic.

(III)  Traffic Diversion

(i)     Affected vehicles on Shan Ha Road southbound heading for Lam Yu Road eastbound will be diverted via Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Long Tin Road northbound, Shui Pin Wai Interchange, Long Tin Road southbound, Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange, Shan Ha Road northbound, Town Park Road South eastbound, Lam Hau Tsuen Road southbound and Lam Yu Road westbound; and
(ii)    Affected vehicles on Shan Ha Road northbound heading for Lam Yu Road eastbound will be diverted via Town Park Road South eastbound, Lam Hau Tsuen Road southbound and Lam Yu Road westbound.


        Appropriate traffic signs have been erected to guide motorists.
