Road Closure Arrangements for Kwu Tung Ma Tso Lung Road (the section between Ho Sheung Heung Road and Kwu Tung North Road)

Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the site formation and infrastructure works of the Kwu Tung North New Development Area, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented in Kwu Tung from 10.00 a.m. on 30 October 2026 (Friday) until further notice:

1. Road Closure

The section of Ma Tso Lung Road between Ho Sheung Heung Road and the former Kwu Tung (Tung Fong) Public Toilet will be permanently closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic.


2. Traffic Diversion

1. Affected vehicles on Ho Sheung Heung Road northbound heading for Ma Tso Lung Road will be diverted via Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau westbound, Kwu Tung North Road northbound and Ma Tso Lung Road; and
2. Affected vehicles on Ma Tso Lung Road southbound heading for Ho Sheung Heung Road will be diverted via Kwu Tung North Road southbound, Castle Peak Road – Chau Tau eastbound, Po Lau Road and Ho Sheung Heung Road.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists and pedestrians. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive with utmost care.
