Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the holding of an event, the following special traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on Portland Street from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. on 31 October 2026:

1. Road Closure

The section of Portland Street northbound between Argyle Street and Shantung Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

2. Banning of Turning Movement

All vehicles on Shantung Street westbound will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn onto Portland Street northbound.

3. Traffic Diversion

1. Affected vehicles on Portland Street northbound or Shantung Street westbound heading for Argyle Street westbound will be diverted via Shantung Street westbound and Reclamation Street northbound; and
   
   
2. Affected vehicles on Portland Street northbound or Shantung Street westbound heading for the section of Shanghai Street southbound between Argyle Street and Shantung Street will be diverted via Shantung Street westbound, Reclamation Street northbound and Mong Kok Road eastbound.

4. Relocation of Taxi Stand

The taxi stand on Portland Street near Far East Consortium Mongkok Building will be temporarily relocated to Shanghai Street near Mongkok Complex.

5. Suspension of Taxi Drop-off Point

The taxi drop-off point on Portland Street near Far East Consortium Mongkok Building will be temporarily suspended.

6. Attention and Appeal

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Adjustment of the above road closures and traffic diversions, or other ad-hoc traffic and public transport measures will be implemented by the Police depending on the crowd and traffic condition in the areas.
