Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Tai Po Tai Wo Road, Tai Po


        Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 12:01 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. daily on 17, 19, 24 and 26 November 2026:

(I)    Road Closure

The slip road leading from Tolo Highway southbound to Tai Po Tai Wo Road eastbound will be temporarily closed.

(II)   Traffic Diversion

    1. Affected vehicles on Tolo Highway southbound heading for Tai Po (North) will be diverted via:
      (i) Fanling Highway southbound, Lam Kam Road Interchange southbound, and Tai Po Road - Tai Wo eastbound; and
      (ii) Tolo Highway southbound, Tai Po Road – Yuen Chau Tsai westbound, Nam Wan Road northbound and Tai Po Tai Wo Road westbound.

    2. Affected vehicles on Lam Kam Interchange heading for Tai Po (North) will be diverted via Tai Po Road - Tai Wo eastbound.
(III)  Public Transport Arrangements

LWB Route No. N42A (Lantau bound) will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange and Tai Po Road - Tai Wo before resuming their original routeing.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
