In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 9.00 am on 10 November 2026 to 11.59 pm on 31 December 2026, the section of Hoi On Road eastbound from its junction with Lai Chi Road to a point about 140 meters east of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
