In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that from 1.00 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. on 11 November 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. The section of Fanling Highway southbound from a point about 470 metres north of its junction with Jockey Club Road southbound to a point about 360 metres south of the same junction;
2. The section of Jockey Club Road southbound from a point about 110 metres north of its junction with Fanling Highway southbound to the same junction; and
3. The section of Fanling Highway southbound from its junction with Fanling Bypass southbound to a point about 570 metres south of the same junction.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
