In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on every Monday to Thursday during the period from 9 November 2026 to 3 December 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject to the speed limits as described below:

1. 1. The section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from about chainage marker 5.7 to about chainage marker 5.2 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour; and
      
      
   2. The section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from about chainage marker 5.2 to about chainage marker 3.8 will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

         Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

         At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.
