In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. on 12 November 2026, the section of Tate's Cairn Highway southbound from a point about 220 metres south of its junction with commencement of Shek Mun Interchange southbound to a point about 770 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily subject a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
