In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. on 14 November 2026, the following road sections will be temporarily subject a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour:

1. 1. the section of Tate's Cairn Highway southbound from a point about 360 metres south of its junction with commencement of Shek Mun Interchange southbound to a point about 1100 metres south of the same junction; and,
   2. the section of Shek Mun Interchange southbound from a point about 250 metres north of the junction of ending of its southbound with Tate's Cairn Highway southbound to a point of the same junction.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour on the above road section will be temporarily rescinded.
