TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Causeway Bay
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the holding of an event, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in Causeway Bay during the period specified below:
From 11.00 pm to 1.00 am the following day on 6 November 2026 and from 3.00 am to 5.00 am on 9 November 2026
(a) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Pak Sha Road; and
ii. Part of the traffic lane of Kai Chiu Road between Yun Ping Road and Lee Garden Road.
(b) Turning Movement Arrangement
Vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn from Yun Ping Road onto Pak Sha Road.
(c) Suspension of Lay-by
The lay-bys of Yun Ping Road between Kai Chiu Road and Lan Fong Road will be temporarily suspended.
(d) Traffic Diversion
i. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Percival Street will be diverted via Lan Fong Road, Lee Garden Road northbound and Foo Ming Street; and
ii. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Hennessy Road will be diverted via Kai Chiu Road and Lee Garden Road northbound.
From 1.00 am to 5.00 am and 10.00 am to 9.00 pm on 7 November 2026
(a) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Pak Sha Road;
ii. Kai Chiu Road; and
iii. Yun Ping Road between Kai Chiu Road and Lan Fong Road.
(b) Traffic Diversion
i. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Percival Street will be diverted via Lan Fong Road, Lee Garden Road northbound and Foo Ming Street; and
ii. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Hennessy Road will be diverted via Lan Fong Road, Lee Garden Road southbound, Hysan Avenue eastbound, Sunning Road, Leighton Road eastbound, Pennington Street and Yee Wo Street westbound.
From 5.00 am to 10.00 am and 9.00 pm to 9.00 am the following day on 7 November 2026
(a) Road Closure
Part of the traffic lane of Kai Chiu Road between Yun Ping Road and Lee Garden Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(b) Suspension of Lay-by
The lay-bys at the following road sections will be temporarily suspended:
i. Pak Sha Road; and
ii. Yun Ping Road between Kai Chiu Road and Lan Fong Road.
From 9.00 am to 3.00 am the following day on 8 November 2026
(a) Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
i. Pak Sha Road;
ii. Kai Chiu Road;
iii. Yun Ping Road between Kai Chiu Road and Lan Fong Road; and
iv. Jardine's Crescent between Kai Chiu Road and Jardine's Bazaar.
(b) Traffic Diversion
i. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Percival Street will be diverted via Lan Fong Road, Lee Garden Road northbound and Foo Ming Street; and
ii. Affected vehicles on Yun Ping Road heading to Hennessy Road will be diverted via Lan Fong Road, Lee Garden Road southbound, Hysan Avenue eastbound, Sunning Road, Leighton Road eastbound, Pennington Street and Yee Wo Street westbound.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
