In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 pm on 31 March 2026 to 6.00 pm on 31 July 2026, the following road sections will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

1. 1. The western kerbside lane of Embankment Road from a point about 35 metres north of its junction with Prince Edward Road West to a point about 145 metres north of the same junction;
      
      
   2. The eastern kerbside lane of Embankment Road from its junction with Duke Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction; and
      
      
   3. The eastern kerbside lane of Embankment Road from its junction with Duke Street to a point about 90 metres south of the same junction.

         Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

           (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

           (b)  loading or unloading goods.

         The extent of the restricted zones have been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

         At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
