Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374G)
Restricted Zones on Chung On Street and Ho Pui Street, Tsuen Wan

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 27 March 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(i) the western kerbside lane of Chung On Street from its junction with Ho Pui Street to a point about 11 metres south of the same junction; and

(ii) the southern and northern kerbside lanes of Ho Pui Street from a point about 6 metres east of its junction with Chung On Street to a point about 14 metres east of the same junction; and

(iii) the southern kerbside lane of Ho Pui Street from its junction with Chung On Street to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b) loading or unloading goods.

The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will be rescinded.
