ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
Restricted Zones on Yip Shing Street and Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung, Kwai Chung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 27 March 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones from 8.00 am to 10.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily:

• the northern kerbside lane of Yip Shing Street eastbound from its junction with Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung to a point about 13 metres west of the same junction; and
• the western kerbside lane of Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung northbound from a point about 16 metres south of its junction with Yip Shing Street to a point about 32 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

• picking up or setting down passengers; or
• loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
