In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 28 March 2026, the section of Long Tin Road northbound from its junction with Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange to a point about 390 metres north of the same junction will be subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

        Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be erected to guide motorist.

        At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above road section will be rescinded.
