TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Chater Road and Ice House Street, Central

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate construction works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Chater Road and Ice House Street from 12.01 am to 6.00 am daily on Mondays and Fridays between 9 and 17 April 2026:

A.     Road and Lane Closure

The following road sections and traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. 1. 1. The section of Ice House Street southbound between Connaught Road Central and Chater Road; and
      2. The section of left lane of Chater Road near Ice House Street.

B.     Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Connaught Road Central westbound heading for Chater Road will be diverted via Queen Victoria Street and Des Voeux Road Central eastbound.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists.
