Cyclists are advised that in order to facilitate the flood wall construction works, certain sections of the cycle track along the western bank of the Shing Mun River Channel in Sha Tin between the area outside the Light Refreshment kiosk of Sha Tin Park and the area outside the North Garden of Sha Tin Park will be temporarily closed from 8.00 am on Mondays to 6.00 pm on Fridays (excluding Public Holidays) from 13 April 2026 to 24 September 2026.

        During the closure of the cycle track, cyclists are required to dismount upon entering / leaving the above-mentioned section for safety. In addition, cyclists may use the cycle track along the eastern bank of the Shing Mun River Channel between Man Lai Court in Tai Wai and Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to reach their destinations.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide cyclists.
