ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES ON SHEK KIP MEI STREET AND WOH CHAI STREET, SHEK KIP MEI

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 11.00 p.m. on 29 May 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily:

    1. the western kerbside lane of Shek Kip Mei Street northbound from a point about 120 metres south of its junction with Woh Chai Street westbound to the same junction; and

    2. the southern kerbside lane of Woh Chai Street westbound from its junction with Shek Kip Mei Street northbound to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except taxis pick up/drop-off, goods vehicles loading/unloading, franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

            (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or

            (b)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
