ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374)
Temporary Speed Limit on Chek Lap Kok Road, Lantau Island

          In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.00 p.m. on 5 June 2026 to 6.00 p.m. on 30 November 2026, the section of Chek Lap Kok Road westbound from a point about 200 metres west of its junction with Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Road to a point about 930 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour.

          At the same time, the existing speed limits on the above road sections will be temporarily rescinded.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
