ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (CHAPTER 374)
SPEED LIMITS IN AP LEI CHAU

            In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 June 2026, the following road sections will be subject to a speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour:-

1. 1. the section of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau east of the unnamed road between Main Street, Ap Lei Chau and Yuet Hoi Street;
   2. the section of Yuet Hoi Street east of the unnamed road between Main Street, Ap Lei Chau and Yuet Hoi Street;
   3. Wah Ting Street;
   4. Hung Shing Street;
   5. Wai Fung Street;
   6. Ping Lan Street;
   7. Shan Ming Street; and
   8. San Shi Street.

            Appropriate traffic signs and road markings will be provided on site to guide motorists.
