ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374G)
RESTRICTED ZONES AT MAIN STREET, AP LEI CHAU AND PING LAN STREET, SOUTHERN DISTRICT

            In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 June 2026, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

1. 1. the northern kerbside lane of Main Street, Ap Lei Chau from its junction with Ping Lan Street to a point about 5 metres west of the same junction; and
   2. the western kerbside lane of Ping Lan Street from its junction with Main Street, Ap Lei Chau to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction.

            Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

1. 1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
   2. loading or unloading goods.

            The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
