Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Po Yip Street and Keung Yip Street, Yuen Long


        Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic arrangements on Po Yip Street and Keung Yip Street will be implemented from 9.30 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day daily on 8 and 15 June 2026:

        I. Lane Closure

(a)

The section of left lane of Po Yip Street northbound from a point about 5 metres north of its junction with Keung Yip Street to a point about 85 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and

(b)

The section of left lane of Po Yip Street northbound from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Keung Yip Street to a point about 90 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
        II. Road Closure

        Keung Yip Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

        III. Banning of Turning Movement

(a)

All vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn movement from Po Yip Street northbound onto Keung Yip Street westbound;

(b)

All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn movement from Po Yip Street southbound onto Keung Yip Street westbound;

(c)

All vehicles will be prohibited from making left turn movement from Wang Yip Street East southbound onto Keung Yip Street eastbound; and

(d)

All vehicles will be prohibited from making right turn movement from Wang Yip Street East northbound onto Keung Yip Street eastbound.

        IV. Traffic Diversion

(a)

Affected vehicles on Po Yip Street northbound heading for Wang Yip Street East southbound will be diverted via Hong Yip Street westbound;

(b)

Affected vehicles on Po Yip Street southbound heading for Wang Yip Street East southbound will be diverted via Yuen Long On Lok Road westbound, Po Yip Street northbound and Hong Yip Street westbound;

(c)

Affected vehicles on Wang Yip Street East southbound heading for Po Yip Street southbound will be diverted via Hi Yip Street westbound, Wang Yip Street West northbound and Hong Yip Street eastbound; and

(d)

Affected vehicles on Wang Yip Street East northbound heading for Po Yip Street southbound will be diverted via Hong Yip Street eastbound.
        V. Temporary Suspension of Parking Spaces

(a)

The overnight goods vehicle parking spaces on Po Yip Street northbound from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Keung Yip Street to a point about 100 metres north of the same junction will be temporarily suspended; and

(b)

The franchised bus parking spaces on Keung Yip Street eastbound from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Po Yip Street to a point about 85 metres west of the same junction will be temporarily suspended.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.
