Motorists are advised that to facilitate the lift shaft installation works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Kwai Chung Road, Kwai Chung from 0.30 am to 5.30 am daily on 13, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24 and 27 June 2026:

(I) Lane Closure

• The slip road of Kwai Chung Road northbound connecting Kwai Yik Road westbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic;
• Part of the traffic lanes of Kwai Yik Road westbound from its junction with Kwai Chung Road to its junction with Hing Fong Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
• Part of the traffic lanes of Kwai On Road westbound near its junction with Kwai Chung Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II) Traffic Diversion

• Affected vehicles on Kwai Chung Road northbound heading for Kwai Yik Road westbound will be diverted to travel via Kwai Chung Road northbound, Castle Peak Road – Kwai Chung westbound, Kwok Shui Road eastbound, Cheung Wing Road southbound, Kwai Chung Road southbound and Kwai Yik Road westbound.

        Motorists are advised to drive with utmost care and patience. Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
