Background

The current franchises of New Lantao Bus Company (1973) Limited ("NLB")  will expire on 1 March 2027 whereas that of The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd ("KMB") will expire on 1 July 2027.

The Government is planning to engage NLB and KMB in discussions of granting new ten-year franchises upon expiry of their current ones.

Members of the public are welcome to offer their views on the two bus franchises.
