 《 Traffic and Transport Consultancy Study on Cycling Networks and Parking Facilities
　in existing new towns in Hong Kong  》

 

The Study is:

  1. To examine measures to improve the existing cycle track networks and bicycle parking facilities in the nine existing new towns (i.e. Tsuen Wan, Sha Tin, Tuen Mun, Tai Po, Fanling/Sheung Shui, Yuen Long, Tseung Kwan O, Tin Shui Wai and Tung Chung) in the New Territories; and
  2. To identify a suitable area within the nine existing new towns to carry out a pilot scheme to test the effectiveness of the various proposed improvement measures.

The above Study has been substantially completed in early 2013 and the Executive Summary of the Study was posted at Transport Department’s homepage for downloading by the public via the following link:
