Under the "Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles" arrangement, eligible and approved private cars from Guangdong are allowed to be parked in the automated carparks (hereinafter referred to as "Port Carparks") on the artificial island at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge ("HZMB") Hong Kong Port via the Zhuhai Port (such vehicles will not enter into Hong Kong) while the drivers and passengers may transfer to a flight via the Hong Kong International Airport or may go through immigration formalities at the HZMB Passenger Clearance Building and then transfer to local public transportation to travel to various districts in Hong Kong , or they are allowed to self-drive and enter into urban area via the HZMB without the need to obtain regular quotas (hereinafter referred to as "Entry into Urban Area").
