Introduction

Applications for the "Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles" (Entry into Urban Area) are only accepted online, and are approved jointly by the Governments of Guangdong and Hong Kong. Applicants should first make application and submit document proofs to the Mainland authority. Upon receipt of the applications, the Transport Department will review them and notify the applicants to carry out vehicle inspection at designated vehicle inspection centres and complete the Hong Kong licensing formalities through the email addresses registered with the Mainland authority.
