1) Station Pick-up / Drop-off area
The vehicular entrance (headroom limit 3.1 metres) of Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is located at the loop road on Lin Cheung Road (southbound). Motorists may take the following routes to access Hong Kong West Kowloon Station:
(i) | For motorists from Kowloon, they may use Jordan Road (westbound) and Lin Cheung Road (southbound) (video clip WMV format MP4 format Script version), |
(ii) | For motorists from Hong Kong Island via Western Harbour Crossing, they may use Jordan Road (eastbound) and Lin Cheung Road (southbound) (video clip WMV format MP4 format Script version) ; and |
(iii) | For motorists from the New Territories via West Kowloon Highway, they may use Lin Cheung Road (southbound) (video clip WMV format MP4 format Script version) . |
The Station drop-off area is located at B1 floor (ticketing concourse) of Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. There is a Station car park, including pick-up/ drop-off points and about 500 private car parking spaces, at B2 floor (arrival concourse) for public use. A pick-up/drop-off area is also provided at Wui Man Road (northbound).
Motorists should plan their journeys ahead and watch out for the latest traffic news through various media channels, e.g. radio traffic news and the Transport Department's mobile application "HKeMobility".
2) Non-franchised Bus Pick-up / Drop-off area
Non-franchised buses can access Hong Kong West Kowloon Station via Wui Cheung Road (westbound) or Wui Man Road (southbound) and make use of the designated area for non-franchised buses on Wui Man Road for picking up and dropping off passengers. Vehicle waiting is prohibited.
There are 30 metered parking spaces for non-franchised buses near the West Kowloon Station Bus Terminus. Since vehicle waiting is prohibited at the above non-franchised bus pick-up/drop-off area on Wui Man Road, non-franchised buses can use the parking spaces for short-term parking.
3) Pedestrian Facilities
Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is connected by pedestrian footbridges and subways to the nearby public transport facilities, including Austin Station, West Kowloon Station Bus Terminus, and through a shopping mall to Kowloon Station and Kowloon Station Public Transport Interchange.
Commuters walking along Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei and Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui may gain access to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station via its nearby subways and through Austin Station, while commuters from Jordan Road and Austin Road West near Kowloon Station may make use of the footpaths and footbridges nearby to go to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
