The Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port is a Closed Area. Cross-boundary visitors shall possess a valid travel document. Non-cross-boundary travellers shall possess a valid Closed Area Permit.

1) The Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port Public Transport Interchange
Public Transport Services to / from the Huanggang Port
To more effectively handle a projected high volume of cross-boundary passenger flow, the Transport Department will arrange various types of local and cross-boundary public transport services operating at the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port. However, owing to the space constraints, no public carpark can be provided. Visitors are advised to make use the following public transport services to / from the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port:
1) Franchised Bus Services
Note 1:Travel via major interchange facilities (I), (near) MTR Station (M).
Note 2:Provide daily service during morning and evening peaks at the initial launch of the service.
Note 3:Provide daytime service on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
2) Green Minibus Services
Note 1:Travel via major interchange facilities (I), (near) MTR Station (M).
3) Taxi Services
Visitors may take both urban taxis and New Territories ("N.T.") taxis to and from the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port. The two types of taxis have different operating areas and charge fares at different rates. For more details, passengers may refer to the Taxi Fare tables that are displayed inside the vehicles.

Mainly in the Northeastern and Northwestern parts of the N.T., including Tuen Mun District, Yuen Long District, Tai Po District, North District, Ma On Shan Area and majority of Sai Kung District (excluding Tseung Kwan O New Town); and some other specified locations along designated routes including Passenger Terminals and Ground Transportation Centre of the Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong Disneyland, MTR Tsing Yi Station, MTR Tsuen Wan Station, MTR Hang Hau Station, Shun Lee Estate in Kwun Tong, Accident & Emergency in Tseung Kwan O Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin, Sha Tin Racecourse and the Public Transport Interchange at the Hong Kong Part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. |
Arriving travellers could queue up at Urban taxi (red taxi) and New Territories (N.T.) taxi (green taxi) stands at the Public Transport Interchange in the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port for hiring of taxis. Besides, stopping places for fleet taxis are provided at the Public Transport Interchange in the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port. Arriving travellers could book taxi fleet service through mobile apps or websites by scanning the QR codes of taxi fleets or Octopus App "Call Easy Ride" as listed below, or displayed at the Public Transport Interchange.

In view of maintaining an overall smooth and orderly traffic flow, no stopping place would be provided for pre-booked non-fleet taxis at the Public Transport Interchange in the Hong Kong Port Area of the Huanggang Port.
4) Short-haul Cross-boundary Coach Services
Note 1:Some stopping points would only be in use during specific hours.
5) Long-haul Cross-boundary Coach Services
Visitors can use cross-boundary coaches to travel between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong via the Huanggang Port. For details, please contact the cross-boundary coach associations and major cross-boundary coach operators at here.
