Special Traffic News

    1. Part of the lanes of Canal Road Flyover (Aberdeen Tunnel bound) near Wan Chai Fire Station which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
    2. Due to vehicle breakdown , part of the lanes of Tolo Highway (Sheung Shui bound) near Sea View Villas is closed to all traffic.
      Only remaining lanes are available to motorists.
      Traffic is busy now.
    3. The slow lane of Island Eastern Corridor (Central bound) near Provident Centre which was closed due to vehicle breakdown is re-opened to all traffic.
    4. Due to traffic accident , part of the lanes of Princess Margaret Road (Argyle Street bound) near Perth Street is closed to all traffic.
      Only remaining lanes are available to motorists.
      Traffic is busy now.
    5. Part of the lanes of Waterloo Road flyover (Lion Rock Tunnel bound) near Boundary Street which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
    6. Part of the lanes of Tseung Kwan O Road (Tseung Kwan O Tunnel bound) near Hing Tin Estate which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
    7. Due to improved weather condition, the following arrangements have been implemented on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) HKLR:

      The speed limit of the HZMB HKLR resumes to 100 km/h.
    8. From 16 March, an additional 76 train trips will be added each week at weekends and public holidays on the East Rail Line.
    9. Due to watermain emergency works , part of the lanes of Cameron Road (Nathan Road bound) near Chatham Road South is closed to all traffic.
      Only remaining lane is available to motorists.
      Traffic is busy now.
    10. After discussion with the Mainland Railway Authority, additional train service between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Futian Station will be operated from Friday to Sunday starting this Friday (15 March), as well as during the Easter holidays to cater for travel demand for Easter.

      A total of 7 pairs (14 trips) of West Kowloon – Futian train service will be added every day on 15 and 17 of March, as well as on 22 and 24 of March (Friday and Sunday).

      Meanwhile, 11 pairs (22 trips) of West Kowloon - Futian train service will be added every day on 16 and 23 of March (Saturday), as well as the period from 29 March to 1 April (Friday to Monday).

      Tickets for the additional trains are available for sale starting today. All additional trains will be included in the Same-day Flexi-trip Arrangement for passengers to choose for changing their train trips.

    11. Part of the lanes of Shek O Road (between Cape Collinson Road and the on-street car park near Lan Nai Wan) (both bounds), which was closed due to road subsidence, is re-opened to all traffic. The one-lane-two-way traffic arrangement which was implemented on the above location is now cancelled.

      Yet, due to landslide, the following road section is still being closed to all traffic:
      - all lanes of Yiu Hing Road (both bounds)
      Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.

      Affected bus routes have been diverted as follow:
      - Citybus route no. 77 and Cross Harbour route no. 606 serving Yiu Tung Estate are diverted and omit Yiu Hing Road (Hing Tung Estate / Yiu Tung Estate / Tung Shing Court); Citybus route nos. 82S, 99, 720X and N8, and Cross Harbour route no. 110 are diverted and omit Tung Shing Court.

      At the same time, due to landslide, one-lane-two-way traffic arrangement is still being implemented on Wong Ma Kok Road near St. Stephen's Beach.
