Special Traffic News
- The following ferry services are temporarily adjusted on 24 August 2026:

'Ma Wan - Central' Route:
- Ma Wan to Central: Sailings departing at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. are replaced by bus services (Route NR338S)
- Central to Ma Wan: Sailings departing at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. are replaced by bus services (Route NR338S)
'Ma Wan - Tsuen Wan' Route:
- Ma Wan to Tsuen Wan: Sailing at 8:10 a.m. is cancelled
- Tsuen Wan to Ma Wan: Sailing at 8:30 a.m. is cancelled
- Part of the lanes of Tseung Kwan O Road (Kwun Tong bound) near Tsui Ping South Estate which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
- Transport Department has received notification from MTR Corporation Limited that Kai Tak Sports Park will host TMElive International Music Awards on the evenings of 22 and 23 August. Passengers heading to the venue can use either Kai Tak or Sung Wong Toi stations.
After the show, train frequency will be enhanced.

- Due to watermain emergency works , all lanes of Tsz Wan Shan Road (Shatin Pass Road bound) between Yuk Wah Street and Wai Wah Street are closed to all traffic.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
- As informed by the Chinese Mainland Railway Authorities, from 20 August to 17 September, these trains will make an additional stop at Shenzhenbei Station. The arrival times will be adjusted accordingly:
- G6503 (From Guangzhounan Station to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station)
- G6526 (From Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Guangzhounan Station)
- Due to watermain emergency works , the slow lane of Wylie Road (Waterloo Road bound) near King's Park Rise is closed to all traffic.
Only remaining lane is available to motorists. Vehicles making right turn from Wylie Road (Waterloo Road bound) onto Parc Palais are prohibited.
Traffic is busy now.
- In response to the demand, the High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) will add the following temporary train trips:
From Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Futian Station

- Transport Department has received notification from MTR Corporation Limited that to make citizens' holiday travel easier, East Rail Line train service frequency will be increased during specific periods over the summer vacation weekends (18 July – 30 August).
