Special Traffic News
- Part of the lanes of West Kowloon Highway (Kwai Chung bound) near Nam Cheong MTR Station which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
- The following road sections are busy:
Hong Kong Island
– Connaught Road Central (Western Harbour Crossing bound)
– Connaught Road Central Flyover (Western Harbour Crossing bound)
– Connaught Road West (Western Harbour Crossing bound)
– Harcourt Road (Western Harbour Crossing bound)
– Gloucester Road (Western Harbour Crossing bound)
– Island Eastern Corridor (Eastern Harbour Crossing bound)
Motorists passing through the above road sections are advised to drive with utmost care and patience.
- Part of the s and tunnel tube lanes of Central Kowloon Bypass (Yau Ma Tei bound) which was closed due to traffic accident is re-opened to all traffic.
- Due to road incident , the one-lane-two-way traffic arrangement is being implemented on Tung Chung Road near Mun Tung Estate.
Affected bus routes gradually resume to their original routeings. For the latest service arrangement of individual bus route, members of the public can refer to the information on the bus company's website or mobile application.
Additional ferry services between Tai O and Tung Chung are operated
- From Tai O to Tung Chung：4:30pm
- From Tung Chung to Tai O：5:10pm
Traffic is busy now.
- Due to watermain emergency works , part of the lanes of San Wan Road (Tai Po bound) near Cheung Wah Estate is closed to all traffic.
At the same time, vehicles on San Wan Road (Sheung Shui bound) near Fanling Centre cannot make right turns onto Cheung Wah Estate.
Affected KMB routes nos.261, 261X, T270, 276C are diverted. For the latest service arrangement of individual bus routes, members of the public can refer to the information on the bus company's website or mobile application.
- Due to fire , all lanes of Fung Kong Tsuen Road (Fung Kong Tsuen bound) near Ping Ha Road are closed to all traffic.
Traffic is busy now.
- The following ferry services are temporarily adjusted on 17 September 2026:

'Ma Wan - Central' Route:
- Ma Wan to Central: Sailings departing at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. are replaced by bus services (Route NR338S)
- Central to Ma Wan: Sailings departing at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. are replaced by bus services (Route NR338S)
'Ma Wan - Tsuen Wan' Route:
- Ma Wan to Tsuen Wan: Sailing at 8:10 a.m. is cancelled
- Tsuen Wan to Ma Wan: Sailing at 8:30 a.m. is cancelled
- Due to watermain emergency works , the fast lane of Castle Peak Road - Castle Peak Bay (both bounds) near Hin Fat Lane is closed to all traffic.
Only remaining lane is available to motorists.
- In response to passenger demand, the High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) will add the following temporary train trips:

- To facilitate the construction of T4 Trunk Road, the main road of Sha Tin Road (northbound) from Lion Rock Tunnel Road (Northbound) will be temporarily closed from 00:01 am to 05:30 am on 19 September 2026. During the road closure, motorists are advised to use diversion route to reach their destination.
Motorists should pay attention and follow the traffic signs at scene. Please refer to the Traffic Advice for details of the temporary traffic arrangement.
- Due to watermain emergency works , part of the lanes of Jockey Club Road (Po Shek Wu Road bound) near North District Sports Ground is closed to all traffic.
Only remaining lane is available to motorists.
