Road Crossings

Grade-separated crossing constructed above or below a carriageway (i.e. footbridge or subway) is the safest form of crossing which offers uninterrupted walking path and at the same time minimises disruption to vehicular traffic.  It is usually adopted due to heavy vehicle/pedestrian flows or on road safety grounds, such as over an expressway.
